Choose your own project, such as dressmaking, garment repair, alteration, home furnishings.
Make up a project of your own choosing in a small group setting where you’ll receive support and encouragement to learn basic sewing skills or restart an existing interest. It is important you arrive to the first session with a clear ideas of the project you wish to work on and the materials needed. In some circumstances Tamsin will be able to bring some fabric and patterns once she knows in advance.
If you have use of a sewing machine, please bring it as it is better to learn on your own machine. Other sewing tools and equipment can be supplied, but you are encouraged to bring your own sewing kit if you have one. Once you have signed up, you will get Tamsin's contact so you can contact her to discuss your project, pattern, fabric options and preferences if needed.
