Each year Sonia works on a new collection of images which then feature in the calendar the following year. These images are chosen on a specific theme and try as much as possible to reflect the seasons.
The environment of West Cork offers much choice and inspiration, both in the wildlife around, and the abundance of gardens and knowledge in the area.
Exploring these subjects and their place in Ireland’s heritage is also important to Sonia at Kilcoe Studios. She tries to explore the knowledge around plants when she is painting them.
